British Standards Institution

STM is an ISO 9001-2008 International B-School. ISTM is registered British Standards Institution which is accredited with ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation body (ANAB). This accreditation ensures the quality of the management system implemented by ISTM.

The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board had its connection in the Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), which was founded in 1989 by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). RAB's original mission was to provide accreditation services for certification bodies (CBs). When RAB was created, it immediately became a big name to strengthen the U.S. system for CB accreditation by pursuing a formal relationship with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In 1991, ANSI and RAB joined forces to establish the American National Accreditation Program for Registrars of Quality Systems.

Since 1995 ASCB(E) has been actively involved in great levels of quality assurance for further education programs.

In ASCBE, the accreditation activity will ensure that the totality of training provision is appropriate for the intended or target trainee and their employers where appropriate. This is achieved through the provision of quality assurance measures made to ensure that the training requirement or input, is similar to the training and educational material, or output. Also, ASCB(E) accreditation will make sure that the training provider has addressed that important collateral and logistical support activities, including essential Health & Safety requirements as well as the academic and administrative support, which results in perfect delivery and familiarization by students of training and educational material.

The training accreditation process requires that course training plans are prepared to define key elements of the training provision. ASCB(E) reviews and verifies them on the website. All training materials copies are preserved within the ASCB(E) library and courses are attended by accreditation officers to verify the convenience of delivery and to receive feedback and comment from students and get customer satisfaction in the end.

Accreditation of training programs provides an essential level of assurance for Trading Standards Organisations, Local Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, Insurance Companies, and Higher Education Establishments. Independent authorized by ASCB(E) and similar fundamental authorities are often an essential imperative for the delivery of training under the sponsorship of the above-mentioned reputed organizations.

ISTM is happy to be a part of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), one of the most prestigious Bodies governing Technical Education and is also one of the AICTE approved Bodies to run various programs, including the WPLP Working Professionals Learning program. The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a national, professional, non-profit society registered under the societies Registration Act of 1860. Commenced in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions, it was re-christened as into "Indian Society for Technical Education” in 1968 with a perspective to waxing its activities and advancing the cause of technological education.
