Skill Training at ISTM
Since its inception in 1992, ISTM has been committed to transforming India into the Skill Capital of the World. In collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ISTM has established state-of-the-art Model Training Centres (MTCs), including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK). These centers focus on delivering competency-based skill development training, ensuring the youth of India are equipped with the tools necessary for employment and entrepreneurship.

Our Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) in Gariyabandh, Chhattisgarh, offers specialized courses in areas like Gardening, Micro-Irrigation Technician, and Assistant Electrician under Civil Construction, Plumbing, and Sewing Machine Operation. These courses, approved by the MSDE, provide crucial skill development that contributes to local and national economic growth.

In addition to technical skills, ISTM emphasizes the enhancement of personality and soft skills, which are crucial for increasing the employability quotient of our trainees. To further motivate and prepare them for the job market, we have invested in training on entrepreneurship skills. Our facilities include a recreation zone, interview cell, and an up-to-date library, creating a comprehensive learning environment. We also provide support through our counseling and placement cell, which helps candidates gain confidence and find employment opportunities.
